This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of large program deliverables which requires engagement across multiple organizations. Key responsibilities include communicating target outcomes, coordinating delivery, resource planning, providing visibility of program health, and managing program risks, compliance and financials. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the target outcomes, timeline, and cost and facilitating sync points between business and technology leaders and Risk and Compliance partners.

Requirements

  • Act as the primary interface between business partners, vendors, stakeholders, product owners, solution architects, and development teams to elicit, analyze, and document requirements.
  • Analyze current processes, systems, and business models to identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate business needs into JIRA Epics, Stories, Spikes, and related artifacts, including use cases, process models, functional and technical requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with Technology, Product, and Solution Delivery, and development teams to refine, estimate, and clarify story requirements, ensuring acceptance criteria are fully understood and applied.
  • Collaborate with Product Owner(s) to evaluate features, write effective user stories, and prioritize backlog items.
  • Participate in technical design reviews, identifying enablers, constraints, and cross team dependencies.
  • Prepare process flows, workflows, diagrams, and illustrations (e.g., Visio) to support and complement technical documentation.
  • Apply strong analytical skills to support risk identification and mitigation planning.
  • Demonstrate ownership, initiative, and accountability, providing complete follow through on assigned responsibilities.
  • Support both Agile and Waterfall delivery models as required.
  • Experience delivering technology programs, with strong emphasis on agile methodologies, business analysis, and requirements management.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ hands on experience with JIRA issues, dashboards, filters, Confluence spaces, and reports.
  • Strong experience converting business requirements into epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Experience documenting detailed functional and technical requirements in JIRA, across various issue types.
  • Strong ability to partner with tech teams, product managers, solution delivery, and developers to ensure shared understanding of requirements and delivery expectations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation, presentations, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem solving, conflict resolution, and analytical skills.

  • Ensure compliance with Enterprise Change Management and Release Management processes.
  • Understanding of BofA Global Technology operating model
  • Understanding of BofA Global Technology work and change management standards as they apply to work and change management SoR’s
  • Proven experience acting as a Product Owner or working closely with Product Owners to define and refine business needs.
  • Solid understanding of the full SDLC, with hands on experience in technology projects.
  • Experience with SQL and data analysis tools.
  • Expertise with Risk Reporting and GIS processes.
  • Knowledge working through CTI process around bank cloud and remediation

Responsibilities

  • This individual will bring a strong business mindset combined with deep technical program experience to analyze current business processes, assess technology capabilities, and translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
  • The Program Manager will also be responsible to build up Agile Scrum teams, working closely with Product Owner(s), Solution Engineers, Change Delivery, and Technical Development teams to define features, write high‑quality epics and user stories, document business rules, and ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
  • This role serves as the central communication hub between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams, ensuring clarity, quality, and execution through the full SDLC.
  • The focus for this Program Manager will be to drive tactical improvement and longer term strategic solutions to support machine speed remediation across Collaboration and Productivity products and services.
  • Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery of large programs, such as kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates
  • Broadens relationships with business and technology leaders across multiple organizations, as well as Compliance and Risk
  • Establishes target outcomes in partnership with stakeholders and leaders
  • Tracks success metrics and provides status updates to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to the target outcomes, delivery, performance, risks, issues, and schedule
  • Collaborates with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements
  • Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards
