About The Position

The Senior Databricks Data Analyst will use Databricks (PySpark), Spark SQL, and visualization tools including Power BI and Databricks-native tools to analyze data and develop business-aligned data solutions. The role involves developing business requirements, supporting change-management documentation, and collaborating with stakeholders to align data solutions with business needs. The analyst will work with a technical lead and participate in design discussions and planning with the broader development team.

Requirements

Hands-on expertise with Databricks (PySpark).
Experience with visualization tools, including Databricks-native tools and Power BI.

Responsibilities

Use Spark SQL within Databricks to query and analyze large datasets, writing efficient and complex SQL queries.
Collaborate with data engineers to design and deliver high-quality data products.
Develop data mappings to support integration and transformation of data from diverse sources into structured, analysis-ready formats.
Design and build dashboards using Power BI or Databricks-native visualization tools to communicate insights.
Build Gold-layer data products to support custom dashboards, APIs, and UI tools.
Document data pipelines, mappings, models, and dashboard functionality.
Perform statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
Develop business requirements and support change-management documentation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align data solutions with business needs.
Work with a technical lead and participate in design discussions and planning with the broader development team.
