About The Position

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Database/Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer to administer and optimize enterprise databases supporting cloud and on-premises workloads. This role involves managing database backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery capabilities. The engineer will support hybrid infrastructure architectures integrating cloud and legacy systems, conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and resiliency testing, and develop automation for database operations and infrastructure management.

Requirements

Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
US Citizenship is contractually required.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Minimum of FIVE (5) + years of overall work experience.
Experience in database administration and infrastructure engineering experience.
Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar database platforms.
Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments.
Knowledge of backup, recovery, and high-availability architectures.

Nice To Haves

AWS Database Specialty or equivalent certification.
Experience supporting mainframe-connected applications.
ArcGIS Enterprise administration experience.
Infrastructure-as-Code experience.
Experience supporting federal government systems.
