About The Position

This role is for an experienced SQL and ETL database developer supporting the FA Registration Team. The team owns platforms that support Financial Advisor registration data, registration validations, compliance-driven controls, and field reporting capabilities. The team’s objective is to modernize legacy mainframe processes onto a distributed platform, enable adoption across downstream applications, and incorporate evolving compliance requirements across the FA Registration ecosystem.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience developing batch processes using T-SQL and ETL tools such as Informatica
• Strong SQL Server development experience, including stored procedures and database components
• Strong database design and data-modeling skills
• Hands-on experience with Informatica and enterprise ETL processes
• Experience supporting enterprise batch processing, including scheduling, dependencies, file-based feeds, exception handling, reconciliation, and production support
• Strong data analysis and data quality assessment capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across time zones
• Strong SDLC discipline with a track record of improving operational efficiency
• Experience delivering in Agile Scrum models, including planning, backlog refinement, estimation, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and Jira execution
• Practical experience using AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude for development, troubleshooting, unit-test support, documentation, and productivity improvement
• Ability to follow change management practices that support consistent, maintainable release.

• Master's degree or MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translating business needs into clear technical specifications

• Partnering with business, QA, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver controlled changes and production support
• Centralizing and streamlining production requests
• Working on database design to improve data access, performance, and maintainability
• Supporting batch workflows across ingestion, validation, reconciliation, monitoring, exception management, and downstream delivery
• Leveraging approved AI-assisted engineering tools, including GitHub Copilot and Claude, to improve productivity, analysis, documentation, and delivery quality
