Senior Database Administrator (Government)
About The Position
AT&T Global Public Sector is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to support operations by maintaining, documenting, and administering enterprise IT systems. This role is crucial for providing high performance, highly available, and secure Microsoft SQL Server Database Services directly supporting the activities, business, and mission needs of the Federal Government. The position involves direct participation in the design, engineering, implementation, and modification of production database environments backed by Microsoft SQL Server. Additionally, the role requires exploring, investigating, researching, analyzing, assessing, implementing, and transitioning new technologies to an operational state to modernize and improve existing Microsoft SQL Server solutions.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with poly
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- 8 years of relevant experience.
- Understanding and knowledge of: SQL Server, SharePoint Portal Server
Responsibilities
- Provide high performance, highly available and secure Microsoft SQL Server Database Services in direct support of the activities, business and mission needs.
- Directly participate in the design, engineering, implementation and modification to the production database environments backed by Microsoft SQL Server.
- Explore, investigate, research, analyze, assess, implement, and transition new technologies to an operational state to modernize and improve upon existing Microsoft SQL Server solutions.
