About The Position

KēSTA I.T. is seeking a senior-level Database Administrator with deep PostgreSQL expertise to support Postgres applications running in AWS. The role provides expert guidance on PostgreSQL databases and works alongside software development resources to design effective, optimized database solutions. It also involves reviewing cloud logs and interpreting results to give technical and business partners useful insight. Clear communication is central: the administrator shares findings, recommendations, and technical trade-offs with technical and non-technical stakeholders and collaborates with the client team on ongoing application and database needs.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of experience as a Database Administrator at a senior level.
• Extensive expertise and understanding of PostgreSQL (Postgres).
• Experience supporting Postgres applications running in AWS, including reviewing cloud logs and interpreting results.
• Ability to partner with software development resources to design effective and optimized solutions.
• Strong communication skills.
