Database Security & Compliance: Strong knowledge of cloud database security best practices (access controls, encryption, network policies) and experience ensuring compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., HIPAA) to safeguard sensitive patient data. High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Hands-on experience implementing robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions on GCP to ensure 24/7 uptime and data integrity (e.g., automated backups, point-in-time recovery, replication/failover strategies). Automation & DevOps: Proficiency in automating database administration tasks (backups, updates, monitoring) using scripting or Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Python, Bash) and supporting CI/CD pipelines for database changes.
