You will be a member of a multi-disciplinary group of System, Hardware and Software Engineers. We are a growing business developing new products in an aggressive and competitive market. The new designs are exciting and technically challenging. We are hiring a Senior Data Software Configuration Analyst. The primary focus of this role will be Software Configuration Management (SWCM), including the release of software items. In addition, the candidate will provide support on other programs as needed, contributing to Hardware Configuration Management (HWCM) activities. There may also be opportunities to assist with Data Management (DM) tasks.

Requirements

  • Product Data Management (PDM) Tool experience
  • 10% travel between El Segundo, CA and Fullerton, CA sites
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of HW & SW configuration management concepts
  • Ability to manage / facilitate control boards
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and knowledge of product structures

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Software Configuration Management (SWCM) processes and policies
  • Control and track software baselines, versions, and builds
  • Coordinate and execute software releases, including build activities
  • Maintain configuration status accounting and ensuring traceability of changes
  • Review and approve Change Notices (CNs) through Configuration Control Boards (CCBs)
  • Ensure compliance with organizational, contractual, and regulatory standards
  • Support audits by providing configuration records and documentation
  • Administer product configuration control processes
  • Develop and maintain product build documentation and technical drawings
  • Manage the deployment of baseline-controlled technical data packages
  • Willing and able to travel between two sites: El Segundo, CA will serve as the primary location, with occasional travel to Fullerton, CA as required
