We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Management professional to lead and influence complex projects and initiatives with substantial impact on our operations. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject-matter expert, manage product configuration data, coordinate engineering changes, and ensure compliance with policies while mentoring lower-level professionals and collaborating across internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • 3+ years experience with coordination of change orders with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering design support and product configuration data control activities
  • Experience with ERP systems and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES)

Responsibilities

  • Under minimal supervision, plans, gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates product configuration data, including engineering design changes to support engineering disciplines
  • Directs the coordination of change orders with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering design support and data control activities
  • Leads department initiatives
  • Influences and play a key role in establishing customer requirements, managing the implementation and change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time
