About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to lead the development of advanced statistical models for critical business use cases. This role involves applying a range of econometric and Bayesian techniques to solve complex problems, working with large datasets on Databricks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will also mentor junior team members and promote best practices in statistical modeling and experimentation.

Requirements

• Experience with time series forecasting models (ARIMA, VAR, state-space models, etc.).
• Proficiency in econometric techniques (WLS, panel data models, causal inference).
• Experience with Bayesian models and probabilistic frameworks.
• Knowledge of Markov chains and stochastic processes.
• Ability to translate business problems into analytical frameworks.
• Experience working with large datasets.
• Experience with Databricks.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Mentorship experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of time series forecasting models (ARIMA, VAR, state-space models, etc.) for business-critical use cases.

• Design and implement Bayesian models and probabilistic frameworks for uncertainty estimation and decision-making.

• Work with large datasets using Databricks
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technical teams to ensure model relevance and impact.
• Mentor junior team members and drive best practices in statistical modeling and experimentation.
