About The Position

The Senior Data Scientist – GenAI will join the Long Term Care (LTC) Fraud, Waste & Abuse (FWA) Advanced Analytics team and lead the design and deployment of machine learning and AI solutions. The work combines traditional statistical modeling with generative AI techniques, including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), fine-tuning large language models, and deploying applications on cloud platforms such as Azure. The role partners with business stakeholders to translate fraud and risk problems into scalable, production-ready analytical and AI solutions that help protect policyholders, support program integrity, and improve operational efficiency. It also involves collaboration with data and ML engineers, cross-functional teams, and other data scientists, as well as communicating findings to technical and non-technical partners. The position is based on a hybrid working arrangement. The advertised role is an existing vacancy.
