About The Position

Epic Games is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join its Analytics team, supporting transparency and regulatory reporting across products including Fortnite, the Epic Games Store, and Fab. The role owns the data and reporting tools behind transparency reports required by regulations such as the DSA, as well as risk assessments, audits, compliance assessments, and other compliance reporting. The successful candidate will work with Legal, Compliance, Trust and Safety, and Data Engineering to translate regulatory requirements into clear metric definitions, collect figures from other teams, and verify the accuracy of published numbers. The role also maps internal moderation data to regulatory categories, helps product and engineering teams anticipate reporting needs when launching new features, and partners with Data Engineering to develop submission templates and validation tools. It reviews monthly data-quality checks, resolves data drift and defects, adds new moderation flows, and helps set reporting methodology with company leadership.
