About The Position

In this role, you will serve as a senior data scientist partner focused on monetization strategy for a large-scale digital entertainment platform. You will apply advanced analytics, experimentation, and predictive modeling to generate insights that improve subscription performance, digital content sales, and creator-driven revenue streams. This position is highly cross-functional and involves close collaboration with business, product, marketing, and finance stakeholders to influence decisions, shape strategy, and improve the customer experience while driving measurable business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 8+ years of experience in data science, business analytics, or a related quantitative role
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Python and Databricks or a similar cloud analytics environment
  • Strong SQL and large-scale data analysis experience
  • 4+ years of experience in attribution modeling, experimentation, and causal inference
  • 5+ years of experience presenting insights and recommendations to stakeholders and business partners
  • Strong statistical modeling and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Experience using data to influence stakeholder decisions and business outcomes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment and regularly engage with stakeholders in person

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in digital monetization, subscription, streaming, gaming, or other consumer digital product environments
  • Experience analyzing post-sale monetization of digital experiences, including subscriptions, marketplace transactions, or creator ecosystems
  • Familiarity with user-generated content platforms or live-service ecosystems
  • Experience building lifetime value models, spend behavior models, or retention/conversion frameworks
  • Background supporting pricing strategy, content strategy, recommendation systems, or product discovery initiatives
  • Proven success in highly collaborative roles that require regular stakeholder presentations, insight readouts, and partner enablement
  • Experience balancing revenue optimization with customer experience considerations

Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify business opportunities, define data needs, and translate complex findings into clear recommendations
  • Analyze monetization performance across subscriptions, digital content, and creator-driven offerings to identify growth opportunities
  • Build and refine predictive models, including lifetime value and spending behavior models, to support business planning and decision-making
  • Design, execute, and interpret A/B tests related to pricing, user experience, discovery, and monetization strategies
  • Evaluate customer behavior across products to uncover trends in engagement, conversion, retention, and spend
  • Deliver insights and presentations to stakeholders, helping influence strategy and train partners on data outputs and recommendations
  • Work with large-scale datasets using Python, SQL, and cloud-based analytics environments to support reporting and advanced analysis
  • Develop attribution and causal inference approaches to measure the impact of product and business changes
  • Support recommendation, discovery, and content strategy efforts through analytics and experimentation
  • Contribute to improving data processes, analytical frameworks, and best practices for monetization analytics
