About The Position

Beast Industries is building a first-of-its-kind consumer membership ecosystem from the ground up, centralizing CRM, loyalty, and marketing across all lines of business. As a Senior Data Scientist for Customer Data & Marketing, you will be a foundational hire on the Data Science team, working across lines of business to translate data into decisions, experiments, and compounding business impact. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role where you will run experiments, build measurement frameworks, and partner with marketing, product, and line of business leaders to ensure every campaign, loyalty program, and CRM motion is grounded in real evidence at a scale of over 100 million users. You will be the data science anchor for a centralized customer data, CRM, loyalty, and marketing stack serving every line of business at Beast. Your responsibilities will include owning the experimentation platform, measurement framework, and decision-making processes (A/B tests, holdouts, causal analysis), developing segmentation, targeting, and lifecycle analytics, and contributing to a unified view of the Beast audience for immediate marketing roadmaps and longer-term personalization and AI-native use cases.

Requirements

  • Rigorous experimentation programs inside consumer products at scale.
  • Experience working with marketing, lifecycle, and loyalty teams.
  • Ability to translate fuzzy business goals into concrete metrics, tests, and models.
  • Comfort operating centrally and serving multiple LOBs.
  • Ability to context-switch, prioritize ruthlessly, and build trust with stakeholders.
  • Experience using AI tooling and coding agents daily, integrating modern AI tooling into analytical workflows.
  • Startup experience to build from zero with a nimble team.
  • Big-tech exposure to understand what good looks like at consumer scale.
  • Thrive in ambiguity and prefer shipping analyses that change decisions over producing beautiful but inert reports.

Responsibilities

  • Own the experimentation program end-to-end across LOBs — design, power, analyze, and call experiments in CRM, loyalty, and marketing, and make sure the org actually acts on the results.
  • Build the measurement foundation for centralized marketing: lifecycle metrics, campaign performance, loyalty program health, and the dashboards the business will run on.
  • Partner directly with marketing, product, and LOB leaders — membership, Feastables, and beyond — to translate business questions into crisp, quantitative answers.
  • Develop segmentation, targeting, and propensity models that drive real campaigns, not just slide decks.
  • Partner with Data & Identity engineering to shape the customer data model — so the data you need for experimentation and marketing is actually there, and clean.
  • Set the analytical bar for the org: how we measure, how we experiment, and how we decide. Use AI-native tooling and coding agents to move faster than a traditional DS function.
