The Senior Data Product Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to support the development and optimization of data products. Requirements
- Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis or related role.
- Highly developed SQL skills and advanced experience with Python and/or reporting technologies (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) for data visualization or analysis.
- An understanding of data governance and master data management and their role in data integrity and mastered data products.
- Excellent collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to work across business units and lines of authority.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills used across all levels of an organization.
- Ability to build strong business and team partnerships is essential.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills; must be able to independently solve complex problems and identify solutions.
- Proven ability to balance multiple competing priorities and make judgment calls based on objective information.
- Experience running agile development methodologies and best practices (JIRA and Confluence).
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data product designs aligned with enterprise standards.
- Collaborate with business and IT experts to map source data to data products while documenting assumptions and decisions.
- Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, insights, and data quality issues.
- Lead and support QA efforts to ensure accurate, timely delivery of data products.
- Provide recommendations to enhance data product quality, performance, and functionality.
- Maintain documentation, serve as a subject matter expert, and support user training and team development.
- Mentor and train junior data product analysts.
- Lead analysis with 3rd parties that provide sources system data and establish how they will be integrated with enterprise data products.
