About The Position

This role is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems, including accounting software, budgeting tools, and reporting systems. The Senior Data Integration Programmer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable data solutions, ensuring the integrity of financial data through regular audits and controls. The position involves identifying opportunities for system improvements, preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management, and collaborating with department heads on annual budgets and forecasts. Additionally, this role will support project managers in tracking project budgets and financial performance. A key focus will be on designing, developing, and implementing ETL workflows using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), integrating data from diverse sources, developing and optimizing T-SQL queries, building custom ETL components with C# and Python, designing data models, implementing data validation and cleansing processes, and monitoring/optimizing data integration workflows.

• Proven experience developing and integrating APIs using C# (or) Python and Postman.
• Strong experience working with and parsing XML and JSON data formats.
• Experience working with Deltek APIs and integration frameworks.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field required.

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of professional services industry workflows (project accounting, billing, time & expense, budgeting, CRM).
• Experience with Deltek Vision or Deltek Vantagepoint preferred.
• Familiarity with Power BI or other BI/reporting tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems, including accounting software, budgeting tools, and reporting systems.

• Develop, optimize, and maintain T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support ETL processes and Power BI datasets.
• Build custom ETL components and scripts using C# and Python for advanced data processing.
• Design and maintain data models, database schemas, tables, views, and indexes.
• Implement data validation and cleansing processes to ensure high data quality.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data integration workflows and SQL Agent jobs.
