About The Position

This role oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems, including accounting software, budgeting tools, and reporting systems. The Senior Data Integration Programmer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable data solutions, ensuring the integrity of financial data through regular audits and controls. This position will identify opportunities for system improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes. The role also involves preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and performance indicators, and collaborating with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts. Additionally, the Senior Data Integration Programmer will support project managers in tracking project budgets and financial performance.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of professional services industry workflows (project accounting, billing, time & expense, budgeting, CRM)
  • MS SQL Server, MS SQL Integration Services, Excel
  • Proven experience developing and integrating APIs using C# (or) Python and Postman
  • Strong experience working with and parsing XML and JSON data formats
  • Experience working with Deltek APIs and integration frameworks
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with Power BI or other BI/reporting tools
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field required

  • Experience with Deltek Vision or Deltek Vantagepoint preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement ETL workflows using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to meet business and data processing needs
  • Integrate and process data from diverse sources, including databases, APIs, CSV, Excel, TXT, XML, and JSON files
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support ETL processes and Power BI datasets
  • Build custom ETL components and scripts using C# and Python for advanced data processing
  • Design and maintain data models, database schemas, tables, views, and indexes
  • Implement data validation and cleansing processes to ensure high data quality
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data integration workflows and SQL Agent jobs
