•$140,000 - $160,000

About The Position

Tillster’s Data Science and Analytics team is seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Engineer with strong problem-solving skills and hands-on experience building and maintaining real-time data pipelines. The role is primarily focused on data engineering, with a secondary component supporting analytics and contributing to the dbt-based data modeling layer. The engineer will bring together data from multiple platforms, tools, and sources to improve data accessibility, analytical efficiency, and the quality of Tillster’s data products. The position owns and maintains data warehouse infrastructure across Redshift, BigQuery, and Snowflake; builds and supports real-time, batch, and streaming pipelines; and supplies data structures and datasets for decision-making across business teams. It also supports the MarTech stack, SQL and Python ELT processes, orchestration jobs, and ad-hoc data requests. The role provides SQL and analysis support, maintains Looker Explores and dashboards, and partners with Data Analysts on reporting requirements. The engineer will develop, test, and maintain dbt models; help consolidate GA4, CRM, and other sources in the warehouse; create reusable models for marketing funnels, segmentation, and campaign analytics; implement basic data quality checks; and document data models and business logic.
