About The Position

Designs, develops, and optimizes data solutions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data assets, reporting, and business intelligence to support organizational objectives. Manages data engineering projects or assignments of increasing complexity, scope and impact, applying professional judgment and expertise.

Requirements

  • 2 years’ experience with SQL, Python, PySpark, Java
  • 1.5 years’ experience with DevOps & CI/CD tools: Helios, GitHub, Jenkins, UrbonCode, Git
  • 1 year experience with Shell scripting
  • 2 years’ experience with Enterprise Tools: ServiceNow, Jira, IBM DataStage
  • 1.5 years of basic mainframe experience: JCL, SYSIN, ZEKE, SORT
  • 1 year experience with AI Tools: Copilot

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PowerBI and Fabric
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, Databrics
  • Prior exposure to AWS OR Azure OR OpenShift

Responsibilities

  • Modernizing legacy data warehouse systems to cloud-based or next-generation tech platforms and implement leadership’s vision to align modernization efforts with business objectives and IT strategy.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security throughout modernization.
  • Work on end-to-end EDW projects collaborating closely with IT and business application teams using modern technology.
  • Collaborate with operation and app-dev team to design, operationalize, and continuously improve data-and-AI based applications and ensuring adherence to governance and seamless production implementation in a highly complex environment.
  • Create modern AI skills and use tools like GitHub Copilot, and other AI capabilities to accelerate analysis, development, documentation, and automation.
  • Identifies technical and business opportunities to take advantage of cross project knowledge, best practices, and reusability to expedite projects.
  • Designs and implements automation tools and frameworks for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
