About The Position

SoLo Funds is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and own its data function across the company’s financial products and ecosystem. This is a highly autonomous builder-operator role in which one professional uses AI agents as a workforce, with human judgment providing oversight. The role spans data engineering, analytics, business intelligence, risk, fraud, and data science. The engineer will design, build, and maintain production pipelines, services, models, and infrastructure that transform transaction and behavioral data from SoLo Score, SoLo Wallet, SoLo Marketplace, Borrow, and Lend into actionable business signals. They will create systems that enable agents to perform production analysis, model monitoring, pipeline maintenance, and anomaly detection at scale, while owning data quality, governance, and reliability. The role also includes monitoring lending risk and fraud in real time, evaluating SoLo Score performance and delinquency trends, developing dashboards and BI, and translating ambiguous business questions into clear, defensible answers for leadership. The engineer will partner with product and risk teams to deliver data-informed decisions quickly and will intervene when human judgment is needed.
