About The Position

Mesh is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to own how the company defines, instruments, validates, and delivers data generated by money movement across exchanges, wallets, and chains. The role works hands-on in SQL and Python to produce reliable analytics for clients, Finance, and internal teams, and to build safeguards that let AI agents query company data safely. The position spans product and client analytics, experiment analysis, platform-migration comparisons, data integrity and reconciliation, event instrumentation, finance-grade settlement and billing reporting, AI-enabled self-service data, and client-facing reporting products. The role partners across product, engineering, Finance, and clients to turn accurate data into decisions and usable services. Mesh describes a remote-friendly, hybrid approach. Employees based in its San Francisco, New York, and Bangalore hubs are expected to work in the office at least 40% of the time, approximately two days per week; requirements may vary by role, team, and business needs. The listed base salary range is $180,000–$200,000 USD. Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location. The stated range excludes commission, equity, and benefits.
