About The Position

The Senior Data Engineer - Senior Consultant role is a consulting position under Deloitte’s Project Delivery Talent Model, designed for long-term, onsite client service delivery with limited travel. The role is responsible for designing, developing, and operationalizing scalable healthcare data platforms and integration pipelines across claims, payments, member, provider, eligibility, medical, and pharmacy domains. It delivers cloud-based data products using technologies including Azure Databricks, PySpark, Python, AWS services, Teradata Vantage, Informatica, Airflow, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.

The role is part of AI & Engineering, which builds, deploys, and operates sector solutions across software, data, AI, networks, and hybrid cloud infrastructure. Deloitte’s AI & Data practice designs, develops, and operates data and AI platforms, products, insights, and services to help clients enhance and scale their capabilities.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience designing healthcare data platforms.
• Deep knowledge of Cigna Medicare business.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel an average of 10%, depending on work, clients, and industries or sectors served.
