About The Position

The primary focus for you will be the design and delivery of enterprise-level data solutions from the earliest discovery phases of projects through prototyping, architectural design and delivery. You will be working with Microsoft Fabric to build data solutions which will help businesses to gain greater insight into their data.

Requirements

• Experience using Pipelines within Microsoft Fabric
• Experience using Notebooks within Microsoft Fabric
• Experience using Lakehouse / Warehouses within Microsoft Fabric
• Confident writing code in SQL
• Confident writing code in Python
• Understanding of the fundamentals of Capacity management – throttling, overage, scaling
• Understanding of the fundamentals of Metadata-driven data platforms
• Understanding of the fundamentals of Data Lakehouse architecture
• Understanding of the fundamentals of Git and version control
• Understanding of the fundamentals of Data Modelling and Data Warehouse Theory
• Understanding of the fundamentals of AI-driven development

Responsibilities

• Working on projects that use Microsoft Fabric to deliver data products and platforms across reporting, analytics and AI
• Satisfying the expectations and requirements of customers, both internal and external, to ensure we are delivering value
• Supporting others in their development
• Contributing to the Telefonica Tech UK&I - Data &AI internal and external community
