About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with 3-7 years of experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field. The role involves strong experience in project management reporting and portfolio analytics, with hands-on experience in SQL, data integration, ETL, and data transformation. The ideal candidate will be adept at developing dashboards and executive reports using Microsoft Power BI or similar BI tools, gathering business requirements, and translating them into effective reporting solutions. Responsibilities include creating KPIs, scorecards, and portfolio performance metrics, along with a strong understanding of data modeling, reporting automation, and data quality. Experience analyzing project, portfolio, financial, and operational data is crucial. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required, as is the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, though equivalent experience and certifications will be considered.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools such as Clarity, ServiceNow PPM, Planview, or Microsoft Project Online.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, SQL Server, or enterprise data warehousing.
• Knowledge of APIs, ETL processes, scripting, and reporting automation.
• Experience in government or large enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or PMBOK methodologies.
• Experience with financial and portfolio performance reporting.
