Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Data Engineer to join our team! Senior Data Engineer (Logistics & Military Focus) Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with a strong background in logistics, specifically within military and Joint Staff environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in data engineering, a thorough understanding of the different classes of supply, and experience supporting military-level logistics operations. This role will be instrumental in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and analytics solutions to support mission-critical logistics decision-making. Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Data Engineering: 8+ years of experience in data engineering (ETL, data warehousing, pipelines)
Logistics Experience: Demonstrated experience in military logistics (Joint Staff, DoD, etc.)
Classes of Supply: In-depth understanding of DoD supply classes (I-X) and logistics processes
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
Security Clearance Requirement: An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures for logistics data.
Integrate, analyze, and visualize logistics data using Advana, Gold Standard, Palantir Foundry, and COP platforms.
Integrate and process large volumes of structured and unstructured logistics data from multiple sources.
Collaborate with logistics subject matter experts to ensure data solutions meet operational requirements.
Develop data models and analytics to support supply chain optimization and readiness assessments.
Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with military standards.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the team.
