About The Position

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team with one of the biggest players in finance in the country and help modernise the HR data landscape. You’ll work on a digital-first HR transformation, building modern data solutions that improve workforce experiences and support the bank’s wider digital agenda. This is a chance to make a real impact by shaping next-generation data capabilities in a leading financial institution. This position is a part of the People Department at our client organisation.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Data Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with PySpark.
• Proven experience building data pipelines in Databricks.
• Ability to implement Medallion architecture as a data design pattern from scratch.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Being able to gather domain knowledge/requirements from the business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Establish an HR data foundation using Databricks hosted on AWS and take responsibility for technical design and implementation.
• Follow and promote the best data engineering practices.
• Collaborating with the architecture chapter.
• Managing business stakeholders to build a future-proof solution with minimum maintenance.
• Lead technical data engineering agenda across the tribe.
