About The Position

Estrada Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with ArcGIS framework expertise for a remote, 18-month contract position within the Continental USA. The role requires a strong background in data pipeline development, data architecture, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud platforms, with a specific emphasis on ArcGIS and Microsoft technologies. The candidate will be responsible for modeling, architecting, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting scalable data solutions for enterprise decision-making, including dimensional and analytic data models. Experience with financial and healthcare data analysis solutions, as well as API-driven integrations, is also required. Candidates must provide a diploma, certifications, and three client references from the past five years.

Requirements

A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in authoring and monitoring data pipelines.
A minimum of five (5) years of extensive full-time equivalent experience as a Senior Data Engineer in a lead role, responsible for modeling, architecting, developing, testing, deploying and supporting scalable, fault-tolerant data architectures to support enterprise decision making within Dimensional and other analytic data models (Data Warehouse, Data Mart).
A minimum of four (4) years of extensive full-time equivalent experience as a data pipeline engineer responsible for architecting, designing, developing/authoring, testing, deploying, monitoring and supporting scalable and fault-tolerant ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) solutions that move data – in near real-time and/or on a schedule - between on-premises and cloud infrastructure solution components using Microsoft SQL Server SSIS and Microsoft Azure Data Factory.
A minimum of five (5) years of extensive full-time equivalent experience architecting, designing, developing, testing, deploying and supporting data solutions within the Azure SQL, SQL MI, Azure Synapse, and/or Microsoft Fabric cloud platforms.
A minimum of five (5) years of extensive full-time equivalent experience developing solutions that include SQL scripting.
A minimum of three (3) years of extensive full-time equivalent experience developing analytic dashboards and reports within Microsoft PowerBI.
A minimum of three (3) years of experience developing solutions that include Python components.
A minimum of three (3) years of experience architecting, designing, developing, deploying, testing and supporting development of financial data analysis solution(s).
A minimum of three (3) years of experience architecting, designing, developing, deploying, testing and supporting development of Healthcare Provider Network Adequacy analysis solution(s).
A minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience as an ArcGIS data engineer in designing, managing and optimizing data systems within ArcGIS framework.
A minimum of three (3) years of experience architecting, designing, developing, deploying, testing and supporting API driven bulk data integrations with Azure API Manager.

Microsoft Certification(s) Such As: Microsoft Azure Data Engineer, Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer, Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer, Microsoft PowerBI Data Analyst, Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer.
Current Data Modeling Certification(s) Such As: Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) Data Modeling Specialist (DMBOK), Data Modeling Institute (DMI) Data Modeling Certification (DMC), Transforming Data With Intelligence (TDWI) Certified, Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP), Microsoft Data Modeling in PowerBI.

Responsibilities

Authoring and monitoring data pipelines.

Developing analytic dashboards and reports within Microsoft PowerBI.
Developing solutions that include Python components.
Architecting, designing, developing, deploying, testing, and supporting the development of financial data analysis solutions.
Architecting, designing, developing, deploying, testing, and supporting the development of Healthcare Provider Network Adequacy analysis solutions.
Designing, managing, and optimizing data systems within the ArcGIS framework.
Using ArcGIS tools and Power BI to explore, clean, and prepare data for mapping and analysis.
Architecting, designing, developing, deploying, testing, and supporting API-driven bulk data integrations with Azure API Manager.
