About The Position

Moog’s Commercial Aircraft Group (CAG) is seeking a Senior Data Developer to support and deliver business-critical technology solutions for commercial aircraft programs and business operations. The role combines technical leadership, application development, business analysis, and project execution, working with stakeholders across functions to enhance and support key business systems. The position is hybrid in Buffalo, New York, and reports to the Applications & Data Manager - Commercial Aircraft Group. The Senior Data Developer leads technical projects from concept through implementation and support, partners with business stakeholders to identify requirements and improvement opportunities, and develops, configures, enhances, and supports applications, databases, workflows, integrations, and reporting solutions. The role also coordinates project activities, manages scope and delivery, documents solutions, supports testing and deployment, troubleshoots complex issues, and ensures solutions meet cybersecurity, governance, architecture, and operational standards. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or another relevant discipline.
At least 3 years of experience in application development, systems analysis, technical project leadership, or enterprise application support.
Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Experience developing, configuring, enhancing, and supporting business applications and workflows.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and project execution practices.
Experience with enterprise application support, troubleshooting, testing, and implementation activities.
Proficiency with SQL and relational database technologies.
Experience with modern programming and development technologies such as C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, and web development frameworks and tools.
Experience integrating applications and working with APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Self-motivated, with a continuous improvement mindset and interest in using technology to solve business challenges.

Nice To Haves

Experience with reporting and data visualization solutions such as Power BI.
Experience leading projects and coordinating activities across technical and business teams.
Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, quality, or business operations environments.

Responsibilities

Lead technical projects from concept through implementation and support.
Partner with business stakeholders to identify requirements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Analyze existing business processes and recommend technology-based solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Troubleshoot complex application and system issues and coordinate resolution efforts.
Ensure solutions comply with cybersecurity, governance, architectural, and operational standards.
Identify opportunities to modernize applications and introduce automation capabilities.
Support integration of enterprise systems and data sources across the business.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions aligned with business objectives.
Provide technical guidance and leadership to project teams and stakeholders.
Maintain working relationships with internal customers to ensure technology solutions meet evolving business needs.
