The role involves acting as the key technical liaison between hardware vendors, software development teams, and defense networks to integrate proprietary data APIs. The engineer will implement secure data pathways linking physical ocean platforms to enterprise command networks, ensuring rapid, automated data dissemination. Additionally, the role requires configuring secure satellite communication pathways, implementing bi-directional telemetry architectures for platform management, and designing/deploying robust pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading. Establishing and securing Command and Control (C2) interfaces for active platform management and reverse commanding is also a key responsibility.

  • Implement secure data pathways that link physical ocean platforms to enterprise command networks, ensuring rapid, automated data dissemination to downstream analytical and defense systems.
  • Configure secure satellite communication pathways and implement the bi-directional telemetry architectures required for active platform management and reverse commanding.
  • Design and deploy robust pipelines to ingest, transform, and load telemetry and sensor data from autonomous platforms.
  • Establish and secure the Command and Control (C2) interfaces required for active platform management and reverse commanding.

Benefits
