About The Position

The Data Center Security organization at CoreWeave is responsible for protecting our global data center environments through scalable physical security programs, operational rigor, and strong cross-functional partnership. This team works closely with Finance, Procurement, Legal, and infrastructure stakeholders to ensure security operations are effective, sustainable, and aligned to the pace of CoreWeave’s growth. If you are excited by the opportunity to build structure, discipline, and scale across a fast-moving security organization, this is the team to join. About the role: As the Sr. Data Center Security Business Operations Program Manager, you will own the financial, contractual, and procurement backbone of CoreWeave’s data center physical security program. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Data Center Risk and Assurance, this role manages OPEX and CAPEX budgets, standardizes vendor contracting and procurement, and builds the rhythm of business, standards, templates, training, and reporting that allow the security organization to scale the budget predictably and cost-effectively. Partnering closely with Finance, Procurement, Legal/Contracting, and the DC Security organizational teams, this Sr. Program Manager translates security requirements into sound financial planning and disciplined vendor management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, business operations, finance, procurement, or contracts management, ideally within data center, critical infrastructure, or physical security environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing OPEX and CAPEX budgets, building forecasts, and performing variance analysis at scale.
  • Strong understanding of vendor contracting and procurement processes, including MSAs, SOWs, POs, and competitive RFPs.
  • Proven ability to build standards, templates, rhythms of business, and reporting that scale across a growing, cross-functional organization.
  • Ability to translate security and operational needs into clear financial plans, contractual requirements, and governance structures.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with financial, procurement, and program management tools (e.g., Excel, Smartsheet, and ERP/procurement systems such as NetSuite, Coupa, or SAP Ariba).

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications or on-the-job experience preferred (e.g., PMP, CPSM, CPM, or equivalent finance/procurement credentials).
  • You love to build systems that bring clarity to complex operational environments.
  • You’re curious about how financial data and procurement strategies can directly improve security outcomes.
  • You’re an expert in managing cross-functional projects that bridge the gap between technical security needs and corporate business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the data center security program budget across OPEX and CAPEX, partnering with Finance to build forecasts, track actuals, and continuously reduce variance to forecast.
  • Establish and lead the security organization’s Rhythm of Business (RoB), including recurring budget and spend reviews, standards, templates, and training that create financial discipline, consistency, and transparency.
  • Standardize and lead security vendor contracting, including Master Service Agreement (MSA) and Statement of Work (SOW) contract templates, ensuring consistent terms, embedded security requirements, and sound commercial protections in partnership with Legal.
  • Establish and enforce procurement standards and guide the processing of purchase orders (POs), partnering with Procurement to streamline intake, approvals, and timely delivery of security goods and services.
  • Report spend metrics and build dashboards that give leadership clear visibility into budget health, cost drivers, savings opportunities, and vendor performance.
  • Lead or support security vendor RFPs end to end — scoping, stakeholder evaluations, and award — driving competitive sourcing and best value across the security supply chain.
  • Partner with security stakeholders to manage vendor and contractor performance against SLAs and KPIs; own the contract lifecycle, renewals, and escalation processes across the security vendor portfolio.
  • Provide OKR reporting and other business-related reporting for the DC Security organization.
  • Build strong relationships with Finance, Procurement, Legal, and DC Security teams, fostering accountability and disciplined financial and contractual management throughout the data center lifecycle.
  • Develop and continually improve, optimize, and scale the security business operations program as CoreWeave’s data center portfolio grows.
