About The Position

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Senior Data Center Commissioning Engineer to support commissioning across multiple data center projects for hyperscale AI data center commissioning in the Greater Abilene, Texas Area. In this role, you will help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with business goals, industry standards, and operational reliability requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders, suppliers, contractors, engineering teams, and cross-functional partners to communicate expectations, track progress, resolve issues, and support successful project completion. You will also monitor key performance indicators during systems testing, identify trends or anomalies, contribute to technical documentation, and help ensure quality and safety standards are followed throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Senior Data Center Commissioning Engineer experience.
Experience with hyperscale AI data center commissioning.
Familiarity with industry standards and operational reliability requirements.
Ability to work closely with stakeholders, suppliers, contractors, engineering teams, and cross-functional partners.
Skills in communicating expectations, tracking progress, and resolving issues.
Experience monitoring key performance indicators during systems testing.
Ability to identify trends or anomalies.
Experience contributing to technical documentation.
Knowledge of quality and safety standards.

Nice To Haves

Relocation to Abilene, Texas.
Open to travel over 50% from the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.
