About The Position

The Senior Data Architect leads the design and implementation of enterprise-wide data architecture strategies, driving innovation and best practices in data management. The role provides expert guidance on complex data challenges, influences key stakeholders, and ensures data architecture aligns with business objectives and technological advancements.

The position leads the design of complex, cross-functional data solutions and sophisticated architectures for big data, real-time analytics, and machine learning. It covers data lakes, data warehouses, hybrid architectures, cloud-native data platforms, and integration across diverse systems and platforms. The Senior Data Architect also evaluates emerging technologies, leads proof-of-concept initiatives, collaborates with vendors and partners, and drives adoption of new data solutions.

The role establishes data architecture standards, contributes to governance policies, supports compliance with data regulations and industry standards, and develops approaches to maintain enterprise data quality and consistency. It also mentors data professionals, leads training and workshops, represents the organization at industry events, and contributes to the data architecture community through publications or speaking engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience, or high school diploma/GED/equivalent and 10 years of experience, in enterprise data architecture, advanced data solutions, and cloud platforms.
