The Senior Data Architect develops, maintains, and oversees the data infrastructure, semantic models, data-quality processes, role-based security, and AI-ready data products that support the School of Medicine’s evaluation, reporting, accreditation monitoring, and continuous quality improvement functions. This position works closely with analytics, evaluation, curriculum, assessment, student progress, IT, and institutional partners to ensure that mission, strategic plan, accreditation, course evaluation, survey, and aggregate student performance evidence can be accessed, secured, refreshed, validated, and used reliably. This position crafts long-term technical strategies, emphasizing strategic development and alignment with School of Medicine and University objectives. This position works in close collaboration with the School of Medicine Office of Technology and the BYU Office of Information Technology. This position is important to the success of the BYU School of Medicine, a newly established organization within the university. As the school continues to launch and grow, a successful candidate must demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to take on evolving responsibilities and assignments to support its effective implementation and ongoing operations.
