About The Position

The purpose of the role is to support the bank's decision-making processes by providing timely, accurate, and insightful information through designing, developing, and maintaining management reports, compelling visualisations and dashboards that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), data insights and trends across various business units. This role involves designing and developing comprehensive reports and dashboards utilizing best practices in data visualization principles and design aesthetics to ensure clarity, accuracy, and accessibility. It also includes the design, development, and implementation of automated report generation processes and visualization methodologies for improved efficiency and timeliness. The role requires identification and analysis of business requirements to define report content and format, as well as maintenance and updating of existing reports and dashboards to reflect changing business needs. Development of robust processes and controls for collating input data, performing exploratory data analysis, data cleansing, and seeking signoffs are also key responsibilities. Engagement with stakeholders is necessary to ensure up-to-date data is incorporated into reporting and visualizations.

Requirements

  • Build reports using financial and Client Relationship Management (CRM) data points using visualization tools like Tableau and Qlik, augmented by custom extensions using Angular.
  • Design and build multidimensional reporting data marts and build Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) pipeline using pyspark and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Design end to end solution architecture with C4 model diagrams – (Context, Component, Container, Code) and collaborate with the Chief Data Office (CDO) and Chief Technology Office (CTO) colleagues.
  • Clearly articulate different viable technical solutions with their Pros and Cons.
  • Work with multiple teams (like – Product Management, QA, UX Design etc) to ensure delivery of quality product to end user and multitask within an Agile software development framework.
  • Interact directly with various business users to understand their requirements and clearly articulate different viable technical solutions with their Pros and Cons.
