About The Position

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will partner with leaders across product, platform engineering, and business teams. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to translate complex infrastructure and product usage data into actionable insights, driving data-informed decisions for our high-scale platform. You will technically guide team members in analytics best practices using SQL, Python, modern data warehouses, and visualization tools. You will be accountable for raising the bar on data quality, reporting accuracy, and analytical rigor across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or quantitative analysis, preferably supporting technical or platform products.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying large, complex relational and non-relational databases.
  • Strong hands-on experience using Python or R for data analysis, data manipulation, and automation.
  • Proven experience designing data models and building dashboards in enterprise BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
  • Hands-on experience working with modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks).
  • Deep understanding of statistical methods, data modeling, and data warehouse architecture.
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience with data transformation and orchestration tools (e.g., dbt, Apache Airflow).
  • Familiarity with analyzing data from distributed systems, API logs, or streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka).
  • Exposure to AI/ML product metrics or analytics supporting data engineering and AI workflows.
  • Strong understanding of statistical experimentation, A/B testing frameworks, and predictive modeling.
  • Experience writing production-grade analytics code using git, version control, and CI/CD practices.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and maintain end-to-end analytical frameworks to monitor platform usage, user engagement, and system performance.
  • Build and maintain scalable data models, transformation pipelines (using dbt or SQL), and data pipelines to support reporting needs.
  • Create intuitive executive dashboards and operational reports using visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
  • Perform deep-dive quantitative analyses to uncover trends, identify platform bottlenecks, and guide product roadmap decisions.
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to define, instrument, and validate key metrics for new features and platform infrastructure services.
  • Analyze high-volume datasets across hybrid cloud environments to optimize platform resource utilization and operational efficiency.
  • Drive standardized metric definitions, documentation, and data governance standards across cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor junior analysts, perform code reviews for analytical queries, and foster a data-driven culture.
  • Translate complex data and technical findings into clear, strategic recommendations for non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
