About The Position

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will analyze and interpret data trends across Button’s platform, focusing on product performance, customer behavior, and operational efficiency. You will demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, analysis, and reporting. Your role will involve delivering actionable insights to inform product strategy, improve customer experiences, and drive platform growth across various channels. You will also build and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks, evaluate and refine analytical methodologies, and automate data workflows to scale analytics capabilities. Collaboration with product, engineering, and marketing teams to translate data insights into user and business impact is key.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within digital advertising, affiliate marketing, e-commerce, or financial analytics.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a focus on financial modeling, ad performance, campaign optimization, and revenue impact.
  • Experience working with large datasets and using data visualization tools such as Omni, Looker, or similar BI tools.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL is a must.
  • Experience designing, running, and interpreting experiments using Statsig to drive data-informed decision making.
  • Understanding of financial metrics such as revenue forecasting, cost-per-acquisition (CPA), return on ad spend (ROAS), and lifetime value (LTV).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and technical insights into actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality financial analysis and reporting.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with BigQuery or other cloud-based data warehouses preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks to keep internal teams and leadership aligned on key performance metrics.
  • Evaluate and refine analytical methodologies to ensure data accuracy, enable better forecasting, and support experimentation.
  • Automate data workflows, reporting pipelines, and dashboards to scale analytics capabilities.
  • Partner closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to translate data insights into user and business impact.
