About The Position

Our client requires a Senior Data Analyst to investigate data anomalies, support data management initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business, DBA, ETL, and Data Management). This role involves analyzing data across various environments (Data Warehouse, ODS, ETL), supporting data transformations, and contributing to Data Governance and Master Data Management solutions. A strong SQL background, attention to detail, and good communication skills are essential. Requirements

5+ years as a data analyst with SQL experience in OLTP, Data Warehouse, and Big Data environments
2+ years of experience writing medium to complex SQL stored procedures
Strong SQL querying and troubleshooting abilities
Experience with Oracle databases is required, including SQL and PL/SQL development
Familiarity with data movement (ETL, Replication) and Big Data technologies (Hadoop, MongoDB, Exadata)
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills is a must
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Self-motivated, with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Nice To Haves

Experience with Data Virtualization (Denodo) is a plus

Responsibilities

Investigate and resolve data anomalies reported by business users
Collaborate with ETL, DBA, and Data Management teams on data transformations, movement, and derivations
Assist with break-fix and production validation for data replication and transformations
Maintain up-to-date documentation on data governance, standards, and lineage
Identify patterns and trends from various data sources to provide actionable insights
