About The Position

The Army Supply Chain Optimization Support (SCOS) program provides advanced analytical operations, inventory management, and transport optimization and supports Army aviation and missile systems handled by tenant commands at Redstone Arsenal. The Senior Data Analyst will lead data analytics and modeling and oversee descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytical products supporting Army aviation and missile-system supply chains.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
• Army logistics-system, LMP, AMCOM, aviation, or missile experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Operations Research, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field
• At least 7 years of analytics experience with 3 years in supply-chain analytics
• Expertise in data mining, statistical modeling, machine learning, and Tableau or Power BI
• Required to have or be eligible to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance for the duration of the contract

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced data analytics, modeling, and visualization
• Mentor junior analysts
• Collect, clean, integrate, and analyze structured and unstructured supply-chain data from authorized sources
• Apply data mining, statistical analysis, trend analysis, causal analysis, machine learning, and quality-control methods
