This role is ideal for someone who excels in data extraction, interpretation, and translating complex datasets into actionable insights for financial decision-making.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts, datasets, and reporting standards.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Python or R is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with financial databases such as Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel, IFRS, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS).

Responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from financial systems using advanced SQL queries.
• Interpret financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for business growth.
• Collaborate with finance, risk, and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support strategic financial planning.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with financial regulations.
• Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting needs for senior stakeholders.
