In this role, you will engage with partners across business, analytics, and technical teams to enable easier access to improved data analytics, and ability to provide greater insights and decision-making capabilities to support strategic initiatives. You will work closely with a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team, fostering strong collaboration across Fidelity Technology to ensure timely delivery and successful outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years of related experience in data analysis, or data engineering, OR a Master’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in leading data or BI related projects in the areas of requirements gathering, analysis, interpretation and translating them to data solutions.
• Skilled at effectively defining use cases and simplifying complex concepts.
• Experienced decomposing complex work into digestible work elements within an agile environment.
• Solid data analysis and data profiling skills with a solid understanding of SQL or Python.
• Ability to translate data insights into valuable business insights using BI visualizations.
• Working experience with enterprise data lakes and Cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.
• Ability to understand and communicate sophisticated concepts effectively to a variety of audiences, both technical and non-technical.
• Experience navigating integrated enterprise data and working across multi-functional teams.
• Ability to identify analytics insights and make stakeholder recommendations on the benefits and shortcomings of each insight.
• Passion for continuous learning, mastering new skills, and keeping abreast of the latest innovations across data analytics.
• Known as a go-getter, with the ability to unravel a mystery – data, business process or organizational.
• Effective communicator with a good ability to cultivate relationships.
• Superb communication and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Jira / Jira Align is a plus.
• Familiarity with Alteryx, Power BI and ML approaches, an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Independently wrangle datasets to obtain data insights and translate those into valuable business insights using BI visualizations.
• Understand and communicate sophisticated concepts effectively to a variety of audiences, both technical and non-technical.
• Identify analytics insights and make stakeholder recommendations on the benefits and shortcomings of each insight.
• Contribute daily to making a difference in Fidelity’s technology advancement.
