Position: Senior Data Analyst Job Location: 1 Customer Dr, Mail Stop# 0215, Bentonville, AR, 72716 Duties: Analyzes and interprets information for one or more initiative work streams to improve business efficiency by using various analytical methodologies; developing creative solutions within business areas that reduce cost and/or meet business goals; using judgment to assign what activities must be done; and ensuring data accuracy. Develops and directs one or more work streams of a cross-functional project to achieve desired results by ensuring understanding of scope of work; organizing timelines and deliverables; facilitating meetings involving project teams to analyze, plan, and implement project initiatives; taking corrective action; and reporting results and deliverables to supervisors and stakeholders. Collaborates cross-functionally on assignments with internal and external stakeholders to understand the results of data analyses and research by communicating results and findings. Develops tools that support decision making and business cases by summarizing needed information; determining what information must be reported; ensuring customer needs are met; and analyzing an initiative's impact to the business. Assumes duties of Project Manager III, Innovation in the absence of the Project Manager III, Innovation by attending meetings; working directly with the project team members on specific projects and analyses; performing analyses; providing directional advice and guidance related to defined logistical issues; and determining which issues should be elevated to a higher priority. Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Models’ compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices. Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science or a related field plus 2 years of experience in data analytics or a related field. Skills Required: Must have experience with: Designing and implementing rule-based algorithms for deployment in batch or real-time APIs; Creating visual representation of data to tell a story using Tableau, PowerBI; Utilizing CI/CD tools such as JFrog and Airflow to ensure deployment and maintenance of product-grade code; Developing scalable PySpark scripts to handle large datasets efficiently; Creating and maintaining data models in BigQuery to support analytical and reporting needs; Applying advanced statistical methods such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and multivariate analysis to draw meaningful conclusions from complex datasets and support strategic decision-making; Employing statistical techniques to detect anomalies and outliers, analyzing data distributions, and uncover hidden patterns and correlations within datasets; Identifying and resolving data related issues through root cause analysis; Answering business related Ad hoc questions through comprehensive data analysis; Creating, validating, and optimizing KPIs using SQL and Python to ensure they accurately reflect business objectives and performance; Implementing rigorous data cleaning and pre-processing techniques to ensure the highest level of data quality and accuracy; Cloud-based databases and data warehouses; Version control systems like Git for managing code and collaboration. • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science or a related field plus 2 years of experience in data analytics or a related field.
