Senior Data Analyst
About The Position
We're looking for an experienced candidate to support our team by delivering data-driven solutions that strengthen financial insights and streamline operations. This role focuses on building intuitive dashboards, developing scalable data pipelines, and applying advanced analytics to support better business decisions. We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years!. This role is located at a client site in Reston, VA or Plano, TX. A hybrid working model is acceptable. We're looking for an experienced candidate to support our team by delivering data-driven solutions that strengthen financial insights and streamline operations. This role focuses on building intuitive dashboards, developing scalable data pipelines, and applying advanced analytics to support better business decisions. You'll work closely with finance and business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into practical, high-impact data solutions. The position also involves improving existing reporting tools, ensuring data accuracy, and optimizing performance across analytics platforms. In addition, this role requires experience operating in Agile environments, with a strong preference for candidates who bring a background as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) or similar leadership role within SAFe or large-scale Agile frameworks. As part of this hybrid responsibility, you will help facilitate cross-team coordination, support program-level planning and execution, and drive continuous improvement across data and analytics initiatives. Success in this role requires a balance of technical expertise, business understanding, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python and SQL for data processing and automation
- Proven ability to design and deliver Tableau dashboards that are both insightful and user-friendly
- Solid understanding of data engineering concepts, including building and maintaining data pipelines
- Experience applying advanced analytics techniques such as statistical analysis, forecasting, or modeling
- Comfortable working with large, complex datasets and turning them into meaningful insights
- Track record of automating workflows and improving reporting efficiency
- Ability to optimize performance for queries, dashboards, and data processes
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and manage competing priorities
