About The Position

The Senior Data Analyst, IROCC will build tools and apps to proactively identify risks in Ethics and Compliance programs. This is a global role providing analytics support to Ethics and Compliance subject matter experts (SMEs) across all the markets in which we operate. The role involves processing data from disparate data platforms, building and supporting BI dashboards to help SMEs identify risk and measure program maturity. The analyst will draw insights and correlations from data, communicate results in business terms, and translate business problems into data-related or mathematical solutions. This includes identifying appropriate modeling techniques for complex problems with large-scale, multiple structured and unstructured data sets, and developing newer techniques leveraging advanced machine learning algorithms and auto ML. The position also requires conducting research to benchmark industry best practices and creating data for reporting on key performance metrics for compliance programs for each area of focus.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of mathematics, particularly statistics
• The ability to code using R or Python
• Working knowledge of at least one of the following: SAS, MATLAB, R, Python, SQL, VBA
• Experience producing clear and impactful visualizations in support of complex cases
• Proficiency using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Tableau Prep, BigQuery
• Skilled in making complex and difficult matters simple and easily understood
• Experience conducting exploratory analysis including hypothesis testing, statistical inference, and statistical analysis (predictive and/or prescriptive)
• Adept at partnering with Ethics and Compliance stakeholders to translate challenging business problems into state-of-the-art data science solutions
• Experience developing processes and tools that monitor, analyze and continuously improve model performance and data accuracy
• Effective verbal and written communications skills
• Adept at presenting findings clearly and professionally -- in writing and verbally
• Ability to execute, with strong discipline and organizational skills; someone who gets things done
• Strong analytical skills to interpret insights coming from various initiatives and have a mindset for continuous learning and improvement
• Proven track record to solve problems through mathematical and deductive reasoning

• Proven ability as a full stack data analyst who develops, optimizes, and scales models for the production environment
• Professional experience with languages used to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets (e.g. Python, R, SQL, etc.)
• Proficiency in using database technologies and distributed datastores (e.g. SQL, NoSQL)
• Structured thought process and ability to break down large problems into smaller simpler problems
• Option 1: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance or related field and 2 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field
• Option 2: Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Option 3: 4 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field

Responsibilities
