About The Position

Amber is seeking talented individuals for future paid partnerships, building a network of qualified candidates for project-based roles. This is a proactive talent pool expansion. We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst who can be an employee and a partner, comfortable with challenges, high-volume data, interpretation, and understanding how data drives better decisions in the game industry. The process involves profile preselection, a talent acquisition interview, an online test, and a technical interview when project staffing is planned.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of proven work experience with data mining and analysis tools
• Good knowledge of Power BI, Tableau and/or Looker
• Excellent communication skills and English fluency
• Passion for quantitative analysis, understanding player behavior and ability to draw business insights
• Proven experience working with front-end development frameworks
• Good understanding of database applications and frameworks
• Capability of staying focused in a very dynamic environment
• Able to prioritize work, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• Advanced front-end/back-end development experience
• University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics and/or similar
• SQL knowledge and experience in reporting
• Data analytics and statistics courses and diplomas
• Knowledge or previous experience of the Gaming industry
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence and SharePoint

Responsibilities

• Define and build data tracking methods and processes
• Work with engineers to create a data tracking framework
• Provide data visualization using specified tools (Power BI, MS Office, PowerPoint)
• Perform data analysis and create arguments based on statistical data
• Discover useful information and conclude to facilitate the decision-making process
• Prototype new solutions based on team needs and manager direction
• Provide visibility and analysis of data trends
