About The Position

Peterbilt has an immediate need for a talented and self-motivated Data Analyst. This position will support the AfterSales Department with reporting and in-depth data analysis. This role reports to the Data Analytics Manager, AfterSales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field
  • 7+ years of applicable job experience, with a proven ability to make process improvements
  • Experience in creating executive/summary level dashboards and reports, integrating many data sources
  • Experience with Snowflake and Python
  • Strong understanding of advanced Tableau features and capabilities

  • GitHub experience for version control

Responsibilities

  • Extract, clean, merge, transform and compile data from various data sources, including relational databases, flat files, NoSQL databases and unstructured data using Python and SQL.
  • Create and implement dashboards and reports in Tableau to share metrics and insights with team members and senior executives.
  • Integrate AfterSales data from multiple sources to produce a single overarching view of the customer AfterSales experience.
  • Monthly General Manager Warranty Meetings Data Extraction and query updates.
  • Develop and implement analytical model that provide actionable insights to support cross functional team objectives.
  • Provide accurate, relevant, and meaningful ad-hoc analysis to management to support strategic and tactical decision-making.
  • Develop new process improvements to increase the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of our work.
  • Create and present materials on data projects.
