About The Position

The Senior Data Analyst will leverage advanced data management, analysis, and visualization techniques to support business decision-making and strategy alignment. This role requires expertise in identifying and validating data sources, ensuring data quality, and applying statistical methods to uncover actionable insights. The position involves collaborating with stakeholders to translate complex business challenges into data-driven solutions, while mentoring team members and promoting best practices in data governance. The successful candidate will contribute to optimizing business performance through rigorous analysis and clear communication of findings aligned with organizational objectives. You will join the Performance & Operations team within Walmart’s Last Mile Delivery organization, responsible for ensuring timely deliveries and minimizing cancellations. This team actively manages key operational metrics such as On-Time Delivery and cancellations by analyzing routing, scheduling, driver capacity, and dispatch logic. The team goes beyond monitoring dashboards by implementing improvements, running experiments, and quickly addressing issues to enhance delivery performance. Requirements

Proven expertise in data management, analysis, and visualization using tools such as Python, R, Tableau, or PowerBI.
Strong knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and experience applying them to solve complex business problems.
Proficiency in identifying and sourcing data from multiple systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
Ability to assess and improve data quality, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data governance standards.
Experience translating business requirements into actionable data insights aligned with organizational strategy.
Effective communication skills to present data findings clearly to stakeholders and guide decision-making.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance or related field and 2 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
4 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
