  • Support RMF lifecycle activities, including security documentation, assessment artifacts, authorization packages, and ongoing compliance reporting.
  • Ensure systems comply with applicable STIGs, SCAP requirements, audit logging standards, vulnerability-management processes, and customer security policies.
  • Monitor cybersecurity posture across narrowband-related systems; conduct vulnerability identification, remediation tracking, and validation of corrective actions.
  • Protect mission systems against threats relevant to satellite operations, including spoofing, interception, malicious code, unauthorized commands, jamming, and denial-of-service conditions.
  • Coordinate incident response and recovery for cyber events affecting satellite service delivery, network integrity, or mission assurance.
  • Review system designs, interfaces, and configuration baselines to ensure secure segmentation, encryption, authentication, and least-privilege access.
  • Collaborate with systems engineers, network engineers, ISSMs, mission operators, and program managers to integrate cybersecurity early in the lifecycle, including design, development, operations, and sustainment.
