About The Position

UnityTec is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Policy Analyst to join their team. The role involves leading the development, consolidation, and technical assessment of cybersecurity policies to ensure a balance between security mandates and operational requirements. The analyst will also provide program support and advise senior government leadership on policy updates and compliance. This position is located in Columbus, OH.

Requirements

• A Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) analyst certification
• A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant cybersecurity policy experience
• Experienced in the general tenets supporting the overall DOD implementation of its cybersecurity policies, procedures, and process.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must possess a DoD current Top-Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.

Responsibilities

• Driving the review, consolidation, and authoritative development of cybersecurity policies while ensuring strict adherence to compliance requirements and securing formal government approval.
• Evaluating existing IT policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
• Providing technical assistance to programs to guarantee that implemented security controls do not hinder operational efficiency and mission objectives.
• Serving as the primary conduit of information to senior management by delivering comprehensive briefings on cybersecurity policy changes, implementation updates, and overall strategic progress.
