The Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer would be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's cybersecurity, information security, privacy, governance, risk management, compliance, and security operations programs to safeguard information assets and support business objectives. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4 – 6 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, governance, risk and compliance (GRC), privacy, and security operations.
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity and information security programs.
  • Strong knowledge of information security governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, privacy frameworks, and security operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to protect organizational information assets while aligning security initiatives with business objectives.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's information security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Support the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
  • Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and maintain the enterprise risk register to identify, evaluate, and mitigate information security risks.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, Aramco CCC, NCA ECC, IEC 62443, customer security requirements, and other applicable regulatory frameworks.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support internal and external information security audits, compliance assessments, and vendor security reviews.
  • Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness, training, and phishing simulation programs to strengthen the organization's security culture.
  • Support the development, testing, and continuous improvement of Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) capabilities.
  • Prepare cybersecurity dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and management reports to monitor security posture.
  • Promote Security by Design and Privacy by Design principles across business processes, infrastructure, applications, cloud environments, and technology projects.
  • Support the organization's Privacy Management Program by integrating privacy requirements into projects, systems, and operational processes.
  • Conduct or support Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs/DPIAs) and ensure appropriate privacy controls are implemented.
  • Identify, classify, and protect personal, confidential, and sensitive information throughout its lifecycle in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Support compliance with applicable privacy regulations, contractual obligations, and customer privacy requirements.
  • Assist in investigating privacy incidents and data breaches, ensuring appropriate corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  • Maintain cybersecurity, privacy, governance, and compliance documentation, including policies, standards, procedures, and operational records.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments across infrastructure, cloud environments, endpoints, networks, databases, and applications.
  • Coordinate internal and third-party penetration testing activities and validate remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct web application security assessments based on OWASP Top 10 and industry best practices.
  • Review system, server, cloud, and network configurations against CIS Benchmarks and recommend security hardening measures.
  • Perform security architecture reviews and assess infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments for security risks.
  • Support Red Team and Purple Team exercises, where applicable, to evaluate organizational security readiness.
  • Track vulnerability remediation activities and ensure timely closure in accordance with defined service levels.
  • Monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity alerts, security events, and incidents using established incident response procedures.
  • Lead cybersecurity incident response activities, including containment, eradication, recovery, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
  • Perform threat hunting, malware analysis, digital forensic investigations, and security log analysis to identify advanced threats.
  • Administer and manage endpoint, identity, email, cloud, and network security technologies to maintain a secure operating environment.
  • Administer Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
  • Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure team to monitor and strengthen firewall, VPN, and network security controls.
  • Implement, maintain, and continuously improve security controls across cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Manage the end-to-end vulnerability management lifecycle, including identification, prioritization, remediation tracking, verification, and reporting.
  • Develop, maintain, and periodically update incident response playbooks, operational procedures, technical documentation, and security reports to ensure operational readiness.
