The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer develops and tests information security tools, applications, and system solutions deployed at Humana. The role oversees design engineering and testing for Humana EIP products and works with relevant stakeholders to move products from design through volume production release. Work involves moderately complex to complex issues requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The engineer designs, oversees, and performs engineering tests to validate platform and product designs, and may design and implement protocols and solutions to protect sensitive data from external or internal breaches or attacks. The role may also implement engineering updates to Humana's information technology and information security infrastructure. It begins to influence department strategy and exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches, working without direction on technical decisions for project components. The role leads end-to-end application onboarding intake for Identity Governance and Administration services. It partners with application architects, developers, product teams, owners, IAM engineering, and cybersecurity stakeholders to assess requirements, dependencies, and risks. The engineer evaluates application compatibility with Microsoft Entra ID, selects appropriate IAM integration approaches, and develops high-level SailPoint Identity Security Cloud onboarding designs when Entra ID authorization is insufficient. The role defines lifecycle processes, identifies required APIs and identity data sources, designs onboarding solutions spanning Entra ID, SailPoint ISC, governance, compliance, privileged access, and account management, and translates intake findings into delivery epics, features, and user stories. It provides guidance on IAM architecture and onboarding standards to support consistency, scalability, and compliance across enterprise identity onboarding initiatives. This is a remote position with occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings. Home or hybrid home/office employees must have internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload, and work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information. The scheduled work week is 40 hours.
